Island Delight Patties
Island Delight patties were born from a love and yearning of Caribbean flavours. When founder Wade Lyn moved from Jamaica to the UK, he quickly missed the bold and mouth watering flavours of Caribbean cuisine. Patties are a staple street food in both Jamaica and the Caribbean. Wade soon realised there was a gap in the UK food market for these tasty pastry treats. Now Island Delight account for over 50% of the patties market in the UK. In addition, they are proud to have its patties stocked in leading supermarkets up and down the country.
What Are Jamaican Patties Made Of?
Generally speaking, traditional Jamaican patties are made from a shortcrust pastry which has been filled with seasoned meat, vegetables, and sometimes cheese. At Island Delight we’ve carefully crafted our pattie flavours so that you can taste the full authentic spice blends of the Caribbean. Our shortcrust varieties include:

Despite us predominantly focusing on UK supermarkets and wholesale for our Jamaican patties, we loved creating cocktail patties for all of the event’s foodies to sample. Proud attendees of the BBC Good Food Show last November, the warm and fresh party patties went down a treat. The feedback was fantastic and although we don’t officially supply cocktail patties to supermarkets just yet, we do cater for those hosting special events. We see cocktail patties as the perfect Caribbean addition to any party platter.
