GraceKennedy Program Internship Opportunity!

As well as our GraceKennedy Internship, we also donate office space to a regional branch of The Jamaican High Commission at our headquarters in Birmingham. Here, advice is offered and help on a voluntary basis to the Jamaican Diaspora. As well as this advice, they also endeavour to raise awareness of educational or cultural opportunities as they become available.

And one of these is The GraceKennedy Jamaican Birthright Programme – a one-month, fully-paid cultural and professional internship geared towards second and third generation Jamaican university students who are living in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

The History of the GraceKennedy Internship Program Opportunity

This programme began in 2004-2008, and was successfully relaunched in 2015. The Birthright interns had an amazing experience exploring their cultural heritage first- hand, whilst obtaining professional experience at GraceKennedy. And 2017 looks set to do the same – promising to highlight many aspects of Jamaican life while furthering the career goals of the selected candidates.

Over the next few months, the 2017 programme will be widely promoted to the Jamaican Diaspora community in an attempt to further national development. If you are interested, or know anyone who may be – please alert them to this fantastic opportunity! More details on how to apply are on www.gracekennedy.com/birthright or see the attached PDF.
