Cleone Foods and Island Delight continue to grow. Our company, known for its Jamaican Patties around the UK, now has the support of Lloyds Bank to grow even further in a sustainable way.
As a company we always do the best we can for our community and the world. For instance, we are dedicated to helping our local community through volunteering, charity work and supporting young people. However, we’ve also had a zero waste to landfill policy for more than 15 years. We are constantly thinking about how we can move forward. Therefore, we are delighted to receive a loan from Lloyd’s Bank. It enables us to achieve our vision to be more environmentally friendly in our production process.
Furthermore, this loan enables us to reduce our environmental impact by installing solar panels onto our manufacturing site. This will help to provide power to the site in Hockley. In addition, the funds will go towards buying an electric vehicle, as well as other low- emission delivery vehicles. Our company delivers our Jamaican Patties to various supermarkets across the UK, subsequently, these eco-friendly vehicles will help our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint.
A Greener Future At Cleone Foods
With the support of Lloyds Bank, we now have a stronger stance on our commitment to sustainability. We have a vision of a greener future together.
Wade Lyn, Island Delight founder and owner, expressed his praise for the support from Lloyds Bank:
“The Lloyds Bank team were really supportive of the project and keen to help us. We’ve banked with them for more than a decade and having them by our side has given us the stability and confidence we need to continue investing in becoming greener.”
